A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services at an early childhood school located in Ashland, OH. This role is suited for candidates with experience in pediatrics, school-based speech therapy, and those who have recently completed their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Responsibilities include conducting play-based evaluations, providing direct speech therapy services, and performing screenings for preschool-aged children. The caseload consists of approximately 13 students, allowing for focused and individualized care. The position requires on-site presence one day per week, with flexibility regarding the specific day.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in preschool settings
- Familiarity with school-based speech therapy practices
- Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or possession of CCC preferred
- Ability to conduct play-based assessments and screenings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
