Qualifications:

  • Valid ALSDE certification for Speech-Language Pathologist, or appropriate clinical certification
  • Experience in school-based speech services, particularly with a pre-K to 5th-grade population
  • Proficient in articulation therapy and assessments
  • Ability to utilize teletherapy tools as needed
  • Strong communication skills to engage with parents and staff effectively
  • Knowledge of confidentiality and professionalism in a school environment

Location: Auburn, AL (30 minutes from Valley, AL)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop tailored therapy plans for students
  • Deliver direct speech services and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies
  • Conduct workshops or meetings to discuss evaluation results and intervention outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district policies
