A full-semester contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification to serve students across multiple K-12 campuses within a school district located in Auburn, AL. This role offers the opportunity to support approximately 50 students on caseload, including early childhood and Head Start program participants. The position requires a dedicated professional willing to work a 37.5-hour week with a flexible start date in January, though earlier availability is welcomed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students, including early childhood and Head Start program participants
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students on caseload
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure to practice in Alabama as an SLP
- Minimum of five years of professional experience preferred
- Proven expertise working with early childhood populations and Head Start programs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
