This role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in school-based services, located in Auburn, CA. You will provide essential support to elementary school students during the contract school year (CSY), focusing on improving their communication skills to enhance academic and social success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Delivering targeted therapy sessions focused on speech and language goals
  • Monitoring and documenting progress to ensure effective intervention
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to coordinate care
  • Engaging families by providing education and support throughout the therapy process

Qualifications and experience sought:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations highly desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California
