Located in Arvada, CO, this position invites both full and part-time contractors, including Clinical Fellows, to bring their expertise to a smaller school district known for its exceptional special education department.
Qualifications:
- Active CDE SSP certification
- CCC-SLP (Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Experience with pediatrics and/or school settings
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Background in special education is a plus, but not required
Location:
Arvada, CO, serving a K-12 school environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the special education team
- Support students in meeting their communication goals through direct therapy and monitoring progress
- Engage with parents and educators to promote understanding and support for students’ needs
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive school community
