Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Naperville, IL

An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled candidate seeking a part-time position in a supportive educational environment. This role focuses on providing specialized services to students with diverse communication needs from March 2025 through June 2025.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
• Strong assessment and intervention skills for complex communicators
• Knowledge of visual and hearing deficits and their impact on learning

Location:

• Glen Ellyn, IL

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with communication disorders
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions
• Maintain a caseload of 15-20 students, focusing on their unique needs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
• Provide guidance and support in the use of AAC devices and other communication tools
• Monitor and document students' progress and adjust therapy as required
