Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate student participation in classroom activities, focusing on fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
  • Modify tasks and environments to tailor support to individual student needs.
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify student challenges.
  • Provide comprehensive reports based on assessments and observations.
  • Develop and maintain IEP objectives and accommodations in collaboration with educational staff.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding students’ progress.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois state license in speech-language pathology.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to exhibit flexibility and problem-solving abilities within a team.
