Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate student engagement in classroom activities, focusing on fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
- Modify tasks or environmental settings to meet individual student needs.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to inform therapy practices.
- Generate clear and comprehensive reports based on student assessments and observations.
- Develop and maintain IEP objectives and accommodations in collaboration with educational staff.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student progress and necessary support.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or qualifying for one.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills.
- Flexibility and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic work environment.
