A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate is needed to support students across two schools—middle and high school—in Aurora, IL, for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract role is ideal for professionals with SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials who are committed to fostering inclusive learning environments where students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate student participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care skills
  • Modify tasks or environments to accommodate individual student needs
  • Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as necessary
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports following assessments and observations
  • Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives and/or accommodations
  • Collaborate with parents and colleagues to monitor and support student developmental progress

Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible Illinois state license for SLP practice
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Flexibility and effective problem-solving abilities

Position Details:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Orientation on August 4 and 5, 2025; first student day August 6, 2025
  • Contract ends May 21, 2026
