A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving K-8 students in an Aurora, IL K-12 public school setting. This role involves working with elementary and middle school populations across two schools, including an early childhood caseload at Long Beach Elementary and elementary-age students at East View Academy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations, diagnosis, and therapy to students from kindergarten through 8th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and district policies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid State Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • State Teaching Certificate.
  • State Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Experience working in school-based pediatric settings preferred.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy services is a plus, though this role is fully on-site.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) valued.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location and Schedule:

  • Fully on-site position in Aurora, IL.
  • 40 hours per week, full-time contract for the school year.
