A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting. The role requires experience working in schools and a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This contract runs from ASAP through May 2026, supporting students on the autism spectrum across multiple elementary and junior high school locations.

Location: Aurora, IL area (serving schools in Morris and Minooka, IL)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students from elementary to junior high levels.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students spread across three schools, including one in Morris and two in Minooka.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication challenges associated with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Collaborate with school personnel, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Document therapy sessions, monitor student outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is essential.
  • Familiarity with supporting students on the autism spectrum preferred.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently across multiple schools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week.
