A part-time Special Education Teacher position is open to support one elementary student in an Aurora, IL elementary school. This role requires fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) to effectively communicate and provide specialized instruction tailored to the student’s needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Active teaching license
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide effective, individualized instruction to an elementary student with special education needs
• Utilize ASL to support communication and engagement
• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement appropriate learning plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
