Serve as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in grades PreK through 5 within a K-12 school setting located in Aurora, IL. This full-time contract position offers 32.5 hours per week with a start date as soon as possible and an end date of May 29, 2026. The role focuses on delivering speech and language services tailored to young learners to improve communication skills and enhance educational outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational team members to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with professional and school standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary efforts to address student needs

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Experience working with school-aged children, especially in early elementary grades
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
