A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available to support a dynamic K-12 school setting in Austin, TX. This contract position spans the current school year and involves working closely with students across all grade levels to improve communication skills and foster academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, assessment, and individualized therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Manage a comprehensive K-12 caseload, collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development under the guidance of the Director and Lead SLP
Qualifications:
- Valid CCC-SLP certification or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience or certification as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and disorders within school populations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
