A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed for a K-12 district located in Avenal, CA. This contract role is available ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY) and seeks an experienced professional to provide speech and language support to students across all grade levels.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with SLP-CCC or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Valid state certification or license in speech pathology suitable for school settings
  • Experience working within K-12 educational environments
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech and language disorders
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and other professionals

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs
  • Developing and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with federal and state regulations
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to support student progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
