An opportunity is available for a skilled candidate seeking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This position is aimed at supporting the diverse communication needs of students in a dynamic middle school environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in SLP or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending California SLP license, or eligible
- ASHA certification is a plus, though clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong ability to develop and implement IEPs and assessments
Location:
- Arvin, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding therapy services
- Offer direct and indirect services as outlined in IEPs
