An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to support students in a vibrant K-12 educational environment in Northfield, VT. This role is focused on providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or pending Vermont SLP license, with the ability to apply for one
- ASHA certification is a plus, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required
- Strong skills in assessments, treatment planning, and documentation
Location: Northfield, VT
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to a varied caseload
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
