Engagement for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on pediatric needs within a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based in Bartlett, IL, and entails providing comprehensive speech and language services to students across two school locations.
Qualifications:
- Valid PEL License
- IDFPR Issued Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric teletherapy and school-based settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location: Bartlett, IL area, servicing two school locations—Oak Lawn and Plainfield.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy
- Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
