A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Battle Lake, MN, serving students from PreK through age 22. This role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, starting at the beginning of the school year (late August or early September) and concluding at the end of May. The caseload will consist of 40-50 students, providing services across a diverse age range within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology evaluations, individualized treatment, and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation, including Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education services.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology with ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Eligible for or holding a School Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in school-aged populations.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff.
