Apply NowA Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support multiple K-6 schools and preschool programs in the Bay Minette, AL area. This full-time, contract position runs through the current school year, with the anticipated assignment concluding by late May 2026. The role involves providing speech and language services across several locations, including daycares, elementary schools, and potentially middle and high schools, serving children primarily from preschool age through sixth grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech therapy services to students ages 3 through 12, addressing articulation, language development, fluency, and related communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Conduct assessments, maintain detailed records, and track student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and school personnel.
- Provide support and potentially collaborate with other SLPs across assigned schools to optimize service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional License or Educator Certification in Speech Language Pathology.
- Experience working with children in early childhood and elementary school settings.
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site at assigned locations.
