Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on educational settings
- Experience working with children, particularly in a school environment
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies
- CCC-SLP or CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) status preferred
Location:
- Council Bluffs, IA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address individual goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ overall development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations on speech and language services
- Create a positive and productive therapy environment conducive to learning
