A K-12 school in Berkeley, CA is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the current school year on a contract basis. This full-time or part-time position is available ASAP through the end of the school year, supporting students across all grade levels.

This opportunity is ideal for licensed SLP professionals holding Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or working under Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status. Experience as an SLP within school settings is highly valued. The selected candidate will work closely with Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), with provisions to provide CF numbers to support SLPA supervision and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student communication goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and education teams to enhance student progress
  • Maintain clear and accurate records in compliance with regulatory and school requirements
  • Supervise and coordinate services with Speech Language Pathology Assistants as needed

Desired Qualifications:

  • SLP licensure with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience working in K-12 school environments preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to manage caseload and documentation independently
