An opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide dedicated support in an educational setting for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on serving elementary students, addressing a variety of speech and language needs within a manageable caseload.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques
Location:
- Bernalillo, NM
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress through regular assessments and reports
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions in accordance with IEPs
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
