An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Stone Lake, WI. This position is designed for the upcoming school year, focusing on providing comprehensive speech and language services to approximately 42 students, with a primary caseload of 18 students.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Wisconsin as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Strong understanding of Wisconsin special education law and speech/language criteria
  • Experience working in pediatric settings, particularly within schools
  • Proficiency in teletherapy practices is a plus
  • CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Location:
Stone Lake, WI

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students' speech and language needs to develop appropriate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on your caseload
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement IEP goals and monitor student progress
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and support strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress in compliance with state regulations
