Qualifications:
- Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Alabama
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with special education students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
Location:
- Alabaster, AL
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy programs tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students’ overall development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Deliver services to a caseload of 40-60 elementary students
