A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials is needed for a full-time contract position in Birmingham, AL, serving students from 3rd through 12th grade within a K-12 school setting. This role offers a school-year (NSY) opportunity starting August 1st through May 21st, with a 37.5-hour workweek and a caseload ranging from 20 to 40 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students’ communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, evaluations, and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and related school activities.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-aged children (3rd–12th grade).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 20–40 students efficiently.
- Knowledge of educational laws and regulations related to speech services.
