School Speech Therapist | Reading, Pennsylvania

A licensed and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is sought for a part-time position in an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This role involves providing essential speech and language services to K-12 students from June 17 to July 24. The focus will be on addressing the unique needs of each student, ensuring that their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are effectively implemented.

Location:
Reading, PA

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students according to IEP requirements.
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to assess student needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as mandated.
• Collaborate with special education staff and engage with families to support student development.
• Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and adjustments to their plans.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Pennsylvania state license and ASHA CCCs (or CFY with supervision available).
• Preferred PDE Certification in Speech & Language Impaired.
• Previous experience working in school settings is an asset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
