School Speech and Language Pathologist | Bluffton, South Carolina

A K-12 school in Bluffton, South Carolina is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide contract services for the current school year (CSY). This onsite position offers approximately 37.5 hours per week and is available immediately through June 1, 2026. Candidates with SLP certification, including those with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), CF (Clinical Fellowship), or SLPA credentials, are encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC or CF credentials preferred; SLPA candidates will also be considered
• Experience working in school-based settings (K-12 preferred)
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in children and adolescents
• Ability to develop and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with school staff, students, and families
• Capable of maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for K-12 students
• Provide direct therapy services to support students’ communication skills
• Collaborate with educators and other specialists to develop intervention plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Participate in team meetings and parent conferences
• Comply with state education and healthcare regulations
