An exciting opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with a focus on supporting students in an elementary school setting. This position is geared towards professionals eager to make a significant impact on the lives of children from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade.
Location: Stamford, CT
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEPs and referral processes.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CFY).
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a varied caseload.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with educational staff.
Location:
- Stamford, CT, serving primarily in one school building with opportunities to work as an itinerant across multiple schools.
