A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve at an elementary school in Brockport, NY. This position is ideal for a licensed professional with strong skills in speech-language pathology and holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children.
- Proficient in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and students.
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language impairments.
- Design and implement evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to student needs.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required reporting in compliance with school policies.
- Attend relevant meetings and participate in professional development activities.
