A full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the full school year in a K-12 public school setting, primarily serving middle school students. This contract position is based in Bryan, TX, and offers the chance to work directly within a school environment helping students with diverse speech and language needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to middle school students.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Manage caseload with the goal of effectively progressing students and determining appropriate dismissal from speech services.
- Supervise SLP-Assistants in compliance with all ASHA requirements.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student success.
- Utilize AAC strategies and technologies to support communication, preferably with prior experience in AAC.
Qualifications:
- Must have completed all ASHA requirements to supervise an SLP-Assistant.
- Supervision experience within schools is highly desirable.
- Preferable experience working with AAC.
- Ability to manage a caseload that may fluctuate in intensity due to student needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

This role requires a committed full-time SLP who prefers an in-person work environment throughout the entire academic year. Candidates will play a vital role in assessing student progress and facilitating successful communication outcomes, including helping students exit services when appropriate.
