A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available with a contract duration from December 19 through the end of the school year. This position provides essential services across one high school, one middle school, and includes half-day responsibilities at a nearby private school, all located in Buda, TX. The role is onsite and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders for students ranging from middle school to high school levels.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate actively in meetings and professional development sessions.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with valid credentials for schools or equivalent.
  • SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist or beyond.
  • Previous work in school settings serving adolescent populations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to varied school environments.

Location:

  • Buda, TX, servicing multiple schools including one high school, one middle school, and a private school.
