Serving a K-12 school in Burnsville, MN, this contract position offers two openings for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) aiming to support students’ communication and speech development during the current school year.
Position 1 is a 0.5 FTE role working with 15-20 K-8 students within one building. The caseload focuses on articulation and speech needs, providing targeted therapy to help young learners improve their communication skills.
Position 2 is a 1.0 FTE opportunity with a caseload of 20-30 students across K-12 grades, also based in a single building. The focus remains on articulation and speech therapy, requiring flexible and skilled intervention strategies suited to a broader range of student ages.
Key qualifications and desired experience include:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for the region
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Familiarity with articulation and speech therapy techniques
- Ability to manage caseloads in school-based environments
- Comfort with teletherapy methods is a plus
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Credentials such as the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are desirable
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services focused on speech and articulation goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to enhance student progress
