A reputable elementary school in Camas, WA, is seeking two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) credentials for a contract assignment covering maternity leaves. This opportunity runs from January 3 to June 15 and offers a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 43 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to promote effective communication strategies within the school environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and professional standards
  • Deliver services in person, ensuring direct interaction and support for students

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP-CCC credential required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 43 students efficiently
  • Must be able to work independently with no supervision required for Clinical Fellowship Year Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (CFY of SLPA)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Availability to interview on most weekdays
