A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a full-contract position serving K-12 students from approximately October 17, 2025, through June. This role is based in Cambridge, MA, within a K-12 educational setting focused on delivering specialized speech services.
The primary responsibility includes providing speech-language therapy for an integrated preschool program, working primarily with students who have moderate to severe special needs. The SLP will manage a caseload that requires tailored support to individualize therapy and collaborate with educational teams to implement effective communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver speech therapy services targeting communication goals for preschool-age students.
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in school-based settings, particularly with preschool-aged children.
- Demonstrated ability to support students with moderate to severe special needs.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Familiarity with relevant documentation and educational compliance standards.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30 am to 2:25 pm.
