An opportunity exists for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support students in a high school setting for the upcoming semester. This role involves working closely with adolescents to enhance their communication abilities and address various speech and language disorders.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families.
- Proficient in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
Location:
Carmel, IN
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate communication goals into the classroom.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of students' progress.
- Provide support and resources to families regarding speech and language development.
