We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Specialist to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our elementary school students.

Job Description: As a Speech-Language Pathologist Specialist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy to students in grades 3-5 across two locations. You will have your own office in each location, allowing you to create a conducive environment for therapy sessions. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the communication needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure in Virginia.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with elementary school students, particularly in grades 3-5.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload across multiple locations.
