A school district near Starkville, MS is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services to students during the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student achievements
  • Adapt therapy delivery methods, including teletherapy, as appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Valid Mississippi SLP license
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with teletherapy service delivery is a plus
