SLP Clinical Fellow - Higginsville, Missouri

An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to support students with diverse speech-language needs in an engaging K-12 environment. This role focuses on providing targeted services to high school students, fostering their communication skills and ensuring their academic success.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)
• Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Familiarity with case management and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of various speech and language disorders, including ASD and articulation needs
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
• Maintain a manageable caseload of 34 students, focusing on 2 case management areas
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed
