A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Rudyard, MI, serving an elementary school setting. This contract position offers a current school year (CSY) duration, with a flexible start date around early September.

Key Details:

  • Start Date: September 2nd (flexible)
  • Weekly Hours: 37.5
  • Caseload: 49 students
  • Setting: Split caseload between two schools
  • Age Groups: Kindergarten to 1st grade at one school, Kindergarten to 8th grade at the other

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students in K-1 and K-8 grade levels.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services targeting pediatric clients.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and reports.
  • Deliver teletherapy services when appropriate, in addition to in-person therapy.
  • Participate in meetings such as IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in pediatric and school settings
  • Knowledge and skills in teletherapy delivery
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload with students ranging from early childhood through middle school
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
