A talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide in-person service delivery for K-12 students in a full-semester contract located in West Palm Beach, FL. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work across multiple school sites, delivering essential speech therapy services that support student success throughout the academic year. Assignments range from elementary to high school campuses, with additional responsibilities for hospital homebound and compensatory therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in grades K-12 across various school locations.
  • Provide compensatory and hospital homebound therapy services as required.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in accordance with district guidelines.
  • Adapt therapy schedules, which may extend beyond traditional school hours to meet student needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with either Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience working in educational settings with diverse student populations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple sites and caseloads.
  • Commitment to in-person service delivery; SLPA and occupational therapy services are not accepted for these assignments.

Summer School Schedule:

  • Elementary & Royal Palm School: Planning days June 4-6; student attendance June 10-July 18, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM with half-hour unpaid lunch.
  • Middle & High School: Planning days June 4-6; student attendance June 10-July 18, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM–12:30 PM with paid 5-hour workdays and no lunch deduction.
