A K-12 school in Chesapeake, VA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position lasting the current school year (CSY). This role requires a dedicated professional to provide speech and language services to students across all grade levels, supporting their communication development and educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student performance.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
