A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Denton, MD. This contract position spans the 2025–2026 school year, from September 2, 2025, to June 17, 2026. The role is centered on providing comprehensive speech and language services to students aged kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The SLP will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement tailored intervention strategies. Additional duties cover maintaining accurate records, reporting progress, and participating in team meetings to support student success.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language impairments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school personnel
  • Familiarity with special education laws and IEP processes
