Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois state Speech Language Pathologist license
  • ASHA certification preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous, though not mandatory
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively

Location:

  • Chicago Heights, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language impairments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with education teams
  • Manage a caseload of 30-35 students, focusing primarily on direct and indirect services
  • Collaborate with case managers and psychologists to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports as required
  • Engage in professional development opportunities as available
