Located in Cicero, IL, this full-time position spans the 2025-2026 school year, serving young learners from Pre-K to 5th grade across two elementary schools.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois state Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ASHA certification preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in a school setting is an asset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech impairments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and other specialists
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Work closely with case managers and psychologists to support student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a comprehensive support plan for students
