Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois state Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • ASHA certification preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in a school setting is an asset
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech impairments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and other specialists
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Work closely with case managers and psychologists to support student needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a comprehensive support plan for students
