An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a significant impact in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is located in Aurora, IL, and spans the full school year, serving a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through eighth grade.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Current State Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred, but not required
- Clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
Location:
- Aurora, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques to meet changing needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and progress made
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Manage a caseload not to exceed 60 students, ensuring a manageable workload
