Two separate contract positions are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide coverage for maternity leave in an elementary school setting in Joliet, IL. Each role involves working with a unique student caseload, allowing for targeted support from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services in alignment with student IEPs.
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as per district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Previous experience in school-based settings is advantageous.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
