A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 educational setting in Chicago, IL. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide direct, onsite support to students requiring speech and language services.

Key qualifications and skills:

  • Certification as an SLP with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working as an SLP in school settings, specifically with K-12 students
  • Ability to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educational staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, families, and school personnel

Position details:

  • Location: Chicago, IL area (onsite only)
  • Work schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week
  • Contract duration: Current school year with an anticipated start as soon as possible, continuing through May 15, 2026
  • Responsibilities include assessment, therapy planning and delivery, progress monitoring, and maintaining required documentation
