A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 public school setting in Chowchilla, CA. This contract role spans the current school year (CSY) and requires onsite presence.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathology or be a Certified SLP in a school setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of California school experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with Special Education Information System (SEIS).
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage large caseloads and referrals.
- Candidates who have completed their Clinical Fellowship (CF) year will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Providing speech and language therapy services onsite to students.
- Managing a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, including 25-30 students requiring speech-only services.
- Collaborating with school staff and potentially supervising SLPAs.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation according to SEIS protocols.
Location and Caseload:
- This position is based in Chowchilla, CA.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- One full-time opening is available.
- Primarily onsite work with expected caseload support from SLPAs.
