A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving PreK through 8th grade students in a K-8 school setting. This contract role offers a guaranteed hourly schedule with a focus on a diverse pediatric caseload spanning early childhood through middle school.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for students in PreK-8th grade
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with educational and clinical standards
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to student-centered care plans
Qualifications and experience:
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Cicero, IL
