Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Cicero, Illinois

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving PreK through 8th grade students in a K-8 school setting. This contract role offers a guaranteed hourly schedule with a focus on a diverse pediatric caseload spanning early childhood through middle school.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for students in PreK-8th grade
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
• Maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with educational and clinical standards
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to student-centered care plans

Qualifications and experience:

• Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license required
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Cicero, IL
